End of another year
The countdown has begun
It is not too far
The beginnings of a new one
Where did the time go
Did I spend it well
I ask myself
It is hard to tell
Twelve months of memories
Good ones and bad
Revive the good
Say goodbye to the sad
They say it’s those you love
Who hurt you the most
Be it family or shadow
But life goes on and so we toast
To new beginnings
Let the past be past
Let’s look to the future
It may be bright, it may not last
But let’s enjoy every moment
For that is the only certainty
In this unforgiving world
And let it last till eternity
